FIRST WEEK: "Deepening your Ashtanga Yoga practice: Finding balance"
January 14-21, 2012

Our quest in yoga practice is a constant search for balance in all levels of our Being. Finding balance between the in-breath and the out-breath, harmonizing the left side and the right side of our bodies, understanding the kosha's (sheaths) and how they play a role in this process, plus learning to integrate our inner practice with our outer practice, all take us closer to the heart of yoga: union.

In this one week retreat we will weave the theme of balance; exploring the challenging heating vinyasa qualities of Ashtanga Yoga and the cooling practices of Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Chanting (Healing mantra's), Pranayama and Meditation.
